Entertainment People, EP for short, is a re-launched company under new ownership and steeped in media history and tradition.
EP was one of the most successful entertainment publicity brands of the 90's. The company founded by Murray Harkin, Jason Pollock and Tony Fitzpatrick rose out of the ashes of the TV-AM show-business desk and went on to lead the field in personality PR and celebrity brand promotion looking after some of the biggest names in the entertainment's business.
Its client base read like a whose who of the 90's - from the world of film, music and television. Clients included Joan Collins, Baywatch, Rosanne Barr, Cybill Shepherd, David Hasselhoff, Sam Fox, Natalie Imbruglia, Lorraine Kelly, Eric Douglas, David Gest, Beach Boys, Good Morning with Anne and Nick, Pebble Mill, CITV Awards, NFT, MOMI, The Television Show - to name but a few.
After ten years of operation EP was closed as the partners explored other avenues. Harkin went onto set up and run the PR agency for HRH Countess of Wessex - a company that under his management was valued at over £3.5m. Harkin sold his shares in the business in 2001.
EP opened its doors again for business in 2005 and has already established itself as a leading player in the publicity and artist management fields.
Harkin has first hand experience of a media spiral and has a unique ability to advise celebrities on how best to deal with intensive media scrutiny. |
